As part of the BigBooster program organized by the city of Lyon since 2015 to help French and foreign start-ups to accelerate their international growth by connecting with its local tech ecosystem, La French Tech Cracovie allowed 5 Polish start-ups (Project People, French 4 Dev, Open Routing, Wisene and Packhelp) to join this program and discover the French market.
With an international network of entrepreneurs, coaches and specialists in the field of entrepreneurship, this week was a real success for all participants. It allowed the executives of these startups to benefit from numerous feedbacks and to reinforce their vision of the internationalization of their activities. We also had the pleasure of having a winner within the group – Wisene – who was able to continue the adventure in Boston a few months later.
This partnership with La French Tech ONE Lyon Saint-Étienne and achieved thanks to the Community Fund of Business France, has been a model. It has resulted in new collaborations with major French companies, new hires, fundraising and new establishments. It has also motivated us to develop the same concept with French start-ups in Poland.
