In the #WomeninFrenchTech series, we meet the women who are shaping the future of French tech with boldness and innovation.Today, we're zooming in on Julia Kotulska, founder and CEO of Synergize, a platform which aims to help student entrepreneurs connect with potential business partners and mentors. My interest in tech came from a love of solving problems. Iโ€™ve always been drawn to ideas that challenge the way things are done, and over time I realized that technology is the most powerful tool we have to turn bold ideas into real-world impact. What truly sparked it was working on my startup, Synergize. From mapping matchmaking logic to validating the concept during the incubation program, I found myself not only learning tech, but building with it. What Iโ€™m most proud of is choosing to believe in an idea before I fully knew what it could become. While studying in the US, I pitched my startup concept at a university eventโ€”not as a polished entrepreneur, but as a dreamer with a vision. I found myself learning side-by-side with seasoned entrepreneurs, absorbing hard-earned insights from people who had built and scaled companies. The startup, Synergize, is built on a simple but powerful idea: matching two types of academic entrepreneurs. Visionariesโ€”those with bold ideas and often the owners of intellectual property and Integratorsโ€”those who excel at execution, strategy and turning ideas into action. My wildest career goal is to build a global ecosystem where student-led innovation becomes a serious force in solving real-world problems. I want to scale my startup into a platform that connects universities, students, and industry leaders across continentsโ€”unlocking the potential of underused intellectual property and turning it into high-impact ventures. Long-term, Iโ€™d love to see a world where being a 20-year-old startup founder with a lab-born patent is not the exception but the norm. I would give myself permission to take up space sooner. Living and working across three continents eventually taught me that confidence doesnโ€™t come from knowing everything, but from showing up and learning out loud. Iโ€™ve since spoken at events, started building my own startup, and stood up for womenโ€™s rights in spaces where it wasnโ€™t always easy. One French woman who inspires me is Simone Veil. As a Holocaust survivor and the first female Minister of Health in France, she stood up for womenโ€™s rights when it was incredibly difficult to do so. Her courage and conviction in the face of public backlash deeply resonate with me.#WomeninFrenchTech #womenintech La French Tech La French Tech Krakow ... See MoreSee Less

Letโ€™s continue the #WomeninFrenchTech series, highlighting inspiring women who are driving the evolution of French Tech in France and around the world.Today, discover the portrait of Beata Mosรณr, founder and CLO of CIRCmodel.com, a business operating model for leaders, using AI as a base. I've been in tech for almost 20 years, so I barely remember the very beginnings. I believe it was quite natural for me, as my father was a self-taught programmer who taught me programming starting when I was 6 years old. So in high school, I joined the Math & IT specialization. After that, I started studies in an IT & Energy interdisciplinary specialization at the Cracow University of Technology. Taking that background into account, when I first joined a small tech startup, the tech field wasn't intimidating for me. I feel pride on several levels when I reflect on my career. There are the factual achievements, like contributing to the marketing efforts at nazwa.pl, which resulted in exponential growth from 100k to 1 million customers in just three years, or co-founding the bootstrapped, fast-growing lean strategy agency Project: People. But I'm also proud of having the courage to speak at international conferences and contribute to international publications. I'm proud of collaborating confidently with global brands like Sabre and Google, and top universities. I'm also incredibly proud of my mentees, who are often young entrepreneurs of 16 or 17 years old. Witnessing their progress is deeply rewarding. I'd like to build my own hardware solution and develop a dedicated programming language specifically to create its AI-based operating system. I wish I had spoken up louder and earlier about the challenges we face as women in IT. I initially found strategies to achieve my goals without directly addressing those issues, and I learned how to operate in a male-dominated environment with successes. But after almost 20 years, I know that not talking about these challenges is not a solution. Nothing will change if we don't give direct feedback and talk openly about it. It requires a lot of bravery and transparency, but it's worth doing for the next generation of women in tech. As a big film enthusiast, one woman who inspires me is Juliette Binoche. Even though she is one of the most beautiful women in the world, she managed not to be pigeonholed by it. She has played very deep psychological roles alongside iconic female heroes, perfectly balancing being a role model for a generation of young girls dreaming of becoming actresses with her humble approach.#WomeninFrenchTech #womenintech #tech #AI #interview #FrenchTech La French Tech Krakow La French Tech ...
