From June 14-17, La French Tech Krakow had the honor of representing the community at VIVA Technology 2023 in Paris, Europe’s leading startup and tech event. Guided by our Board Members, Victoria and Aleksandra, the week was packed with engaging activities and invaluable networking opportunities.
We began with the French Tech Community Summit on June 13th, where global affiliates gathered to exchange ideas. Over the following days, our team explored cutting-edge innovations at Viva Technology, met with key stakeholders, and accompanied the Polish delegation, including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, PAIH, PFR, and startups like BLIK and Billon, on a comprehensive tour. Highlights included a visit to the BioLabs MedTech incubator, interactions with French and Polish tech institutions, and a reception at the Polish Embassy.
One of the most memorable moments was the study visit to the Biotech Labs MedTech incubator and the renowned Hôtel-Dieu hospital near Notre-Dame Cathedral. Here, discussions centered around the needs of MedTech and biotech startups, the support provided by the incubator, and future collaborations. The day concluded with a Polish Viva Technology evening at the Polish Embassy in Paris, where Ambassador Jan Emeryk Rościszewski welcomed us. The event featured a panel discussion on green tech and concluded with a networking cocktail reception, meaningful connections and discussions.
We are immensely grateful to the Polish Embassy in France, French Embassy in Poland, La French Tech, and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for organizing such a remarkable event. This week has strengthened our ties within the global tech ecosystem, and we look forward to making this a lasting tradition, where we join forces each year to drive innovation and foster collaborations!
